| Title: |
Does Fitness Bring People Together? |

| Abstract / Summary: |
This project investigates the ways in which ideas about fitness bring people together. On the basis of interviews, participant observation, and internet research, the author concludes that people who come to CRCE on a regular basis buy into the health and fitness through technology lifestyle. They are students who automatically pay for membership in their tuition, but they all make the effort to go to CRCE and work out. It is the motivation that members of CRCE find within themselves that brings them together because of the shared lifestyle. |
