| Abstract / Summary: |
This article describes the virtual spaces used for education, known as virtual classrooms. The article does one advocate or describe a particular online system but talks in general about the uses of virtual classrooms in distance and on campus education, and details the elements that make up those virtual spaces. The article talks to an audience of instructors, instructional designers and programmers that are in the process of selecting software or creating software that will be used to host a virtual classroom. |
