Library Trends 13 (2) Fall 1964: State and Local History in Libraries
Library Trends 13 (2) Fall 1964: State and Local History in Libraries. Edited by Clyde C. Walton.
This issue examines the significance of local history, the libraries of private historical societies, the acquisition and selection of local history materials, the use of these collections in public libraries, and the ownership of local historical materials. Local and university libraries must continue their efforts to preserve the documents and records of the present so that historians may continue to understand the pattern of history.
